A dragon sculpture I made out of CD shards. The frame is wire mesh and I hot glued CD shards to it. I used 136 blank CDs.

if you make fun of the minecraft ending do not fricking talk to me
The Minecraft end poem is possibly, and this is not a joke, one of my favourite pieces of writing of all time. I will defend it and it’s extremely emotionally potent words to the death.
I was surprised when I saw it for the first time. I was a Minecraft noob at the time, and I finally got to find a Stronghold. After going through the portal and beating the crap out of the Ender Dragon, I really thought the portal created would just bring me back.
When the credits rolled I thought to myself “Wait, Minecraft HAS an End?” And it caught me off guard, much to my pleasure, as I read line after line. It really was shocking, in the good sense, and sincerely, aside of being a beautiful poem, it also made me realize all the work that people put in their games. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t actually spark curiosity and the need to understand games more deeply than just seeing them as a form of entertainment.
